NCOSH Concludes Participation as Scientific Partner in the International Occupational Health and Sports Medicine Conference 2026

The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (NCOSH) concluded its participation as a Scientific Partner in the International Occupational Health and Sports Medicine Conference 2026, held in Riyadh. As part of its participation, NCOSH delivered three specialized workshops at the Riyada Medical Academy, addressing key regulatory and professional topics in the field of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), with the participation of a distinguished group of specialists and professionals from various entities and sectors.
The workshops highlighted several regulatory frameworks and national programs, including the Regulation Governing Work in High-Risk Occupations, which outlines requirements and controls that contribute to regulating professional practices and enhancing preventive measures in high-risk occupations. The workshops also addressed the Occupational Fitness Examinations Regulation and its role in promoting health prevention and supporting the alignment of workers’ health status with the nature and risks of their work.
The third workshop focused on the National Platform for Reporting and Investigation of Occupational Accidents, Injuries, and Diseases, highlighting its role in supporting reporting and investigation processes, strengthening the documentation of occupational accidents and injuries, and utilizing data to identify their causes and support preventive measures aimed at reducing recurrence.
The workshops witnessed strong attendance and engagement, with a total of 1,850 participants, including 350 in-person participants and 1,500 participants through live streaming. This reflects the growing interest in Occupational Safety and Health topics and the importance of enhancing knowledge of regulations and practices related to protecting workers and strengthening prevention in work environments.
NCOSH’s participation in the conference is part of its efforts to strengthen its scientific and knowledge-based presence at specialized events, expand cooperation with relevant entities, and promote knowledge of regulations and practices that contribute to advancing the Occupational Safety and Health system and supporting safer, healthier, and more sustainable work environments.
At the conclusion of its participation, Riyada Medical honored the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health in recognition of its role as a Scientific Partner in the conference and its professional and knowledge-based contributions to enriching the scientific content and promoting the exchange of specialized expertise and practices in the field of Occupational Safety and Health.
